Good to know
Is this the real JEE Main exam software?
No. Our test screen is built to work like the publicly available NTA JEE Main mock-test interface — same layout, palette, buttons, keypad and timer — so the real exam feels familiar. Vidimentor is not affiliated with or endorsed by NTA.
How difficult are the papers?
Each paper follows the latest JEE Main pattern — 25 questions per subject (20 MCQs + 5 numerical), +4 / −1 — with a similar mix of easy, medium and tough questions to a real JEE Main shift. The three PYQ tests use only JEE Main previous-year questions.
What if I can’t take a test at 9 AM?
You don’t have to. Each test opens at 9:00 AM IST and you can start it any time in the next 48 hours — every attempt started in that window is ranked. After the window you can still attempt it for practice; it is scored but not ranked.
How is the predicted percentile and AIR worked out?
We compare your score with last year’s JEE Main 2026 marks-vs-percentile data (15,38,468 candidates) and convert the percentile to a rank. It assumes the paper is as difficult as an average JEE Main shift, and NTA normalises percentiles shift by shift — so it is a prediction, not a guarantee.
How do answer-key challenges work?
51 hours after a test opens you get the provisional answer key, solutions and your provisional marks. For the next 6 hours you can challenge any answer with a short reason. Our faculty review every challenge; if a key changes, everyone is re-graded before the final result.
Which device should I use? What if my internet drops?
A laptop or desktop with Chrome or Edge gives the most exam-like experience; tablets and phones work too. The whole paper loads when you start and your answers are saved on your device as you go — if the internet drops, keep answering and submit when it is back.
I’m an enrolled Vidimentor student. Do I pay?
No — the series is free for enrolled Vidimentor students. Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll add it to your portal.
I have a faculty code. How does it work?
Enter it at checkout (or open your teacher’s link) for ₹150 off — you pay ₹1,350. Enrolments made with a faculty code are non-refundable; you’ll be asked to confirm this before paying.
Can I get a refund?
If you were charged but couldn’t get access because of a fault on our side, we restore access or refund you. Other requests should reach hello@vidimentor.com before the first test opens and are reviewed case by case. See our Terms.
